Vail, Colorado Offers Amazing Summer Activities

Vail, Colorado is located in the Rocky Mountains and is famous for its great ski resorts; however, Vail is not just for skiing. There are many activities that can be enjoyed year-round. Vail Summer activities include hiking, horseback riding, downhill mountain biking, rafting, and fishing.

At Adventure Ridge, you can take a scenic horseback tour that overlooks the Vail Valley. Children can enjoy pony rides around the mountaintop. Other fun activities at Adventure Ridge include the Climbing Wall, Rebound Trampoline, Disc Golf, Lawn Sports, the Discovery Center, and Vail Mountain Guided Hikes. Vail is a wonderful place for mountain biking, especially because of its many miles of beautiful trails with breathtaking views. Mountain biking is one of the most popular Vail Summer activities enjoyed by visitors and residents alike. In Vail, there is anything from mountain biking for beginners such as Eagle’s Loop to what is known as the ’94 Downhill which is downhill mountain biking. ’94 Downhill is the 1994 World Cup Downhill Mountain Biking race course that is difficult and steep and is suggested for experts only.
