Vail Air Service
Travelers heading to Vail or any of the other resorts in the area are awarded with a number of flight choices, of which Denver International Airport and Eagle County Airport are the most popular. Both airports take pride in knowing that first impressions of Vail start with them and therefore work hard to make your first impression of Colorado and the Vail area will not soon forgotten. For those of you coming to Vail Valley via private aircraft, the Vail Valley Jet Center is another air option available to you.
Vail/Eagle County Airport (EGE)
Eliminate long transfers, airport delays, and parking hassles by flying the most direct route into Eagle County Airport located just minutes from Vail. With schedule flight service, and winter flights being offered from at least fourteen major cities Eagle County Airport is sure to get you directly to the heart of the Colorado Rockies, year round.
Winter options include flights being offered through American, Continental, Delta, Northwest, United, United Express, and US Airways.
Summer options include daily non-stop flights offered though American Airlines between Eagle County Airport and Dallas/Ft. Worth, in addition to flights through United to the destination cities of Chicago and Denver.
Denver International Airport (DEN)
The fifth busiest airport in the United States, Denver International Airport is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. While flying into DIA often involves ground travel of up to two hours, it is still preferred by some because you do not need to make any stop-overs on your flight.
