Fly Fishing Tours
Come to Vail for some of the finest fly fishing opportunities in North America with our guides whose vast fly fishing knowledge and experience is second to none. They'll show you to the perfect spots along the many bodies of water, including the Eagle River, Gore Creek, the Colorado River, the Roaring Fork River, the Yampa River as well as high-country streams and lakes. Prepare to receive unparalleled accessibility to some of the best fishing anywhere - with guides that will elevate your experience to another level.
The guides spend more time in their waders than they do in their street clothes - and spending every day on the water brings an unparalleled knowledge and experience that ensures you a memorable fishing experience. With a wealth of waters to choose from, the guides will select certain waters based on angler preference, level of experience, water conditions, and current hatches. Wade trips are taken on all local waters and float trips utilize uniquely designed fishing rafts and drift boats, taken on the upper and lower Colorado, Eagle and Roaring Fork Rivers. Float trips offer the angler the chance to do two kinds of fishing on the same trip: fast-paced and exciting fishing from the boat and wade fishing when the boat stops. Wade fishing offers a more intimate approach to the water, the fish and the surroundings. It's a zen experience, just you and your cast.
1/2 day wade trips offer the angler 4 hours of on the water fishing and about 5 hours total with travel. Full-day wade trips are 7-8 hours total with fishing and travel. Both options are excellent opportunities to get out on the river and they'll provide you with all the information you need to get out there on your own catch some trout.
All trips include:
- Fully licensed, professional guides trained on how to catch fish all year long
- Unlimited access to some of the best water in the West, even in the Winter
- Top notch service, professionalism and close to 200 years of combined fly fishing experience
