Some favourites include Lower Piney Trail Booth Creek Falls Trail, and West Grouse Creek.

There are two off-leash dog parks in Vail for your dog to frolic freely and mingle with others of his ilk. Stephens Dog Park is in West Vail (off S. Frontage Rd. just west of I-70s Exit 173) and Bighorn Dog Park is in Vail (on Meadow Dr., east of the Vail Racquet Club).
