Q: How are the rooms?

A: The accommodation at The Wren is top notch for its class. Each room is cozy and comfortable and well furnished in alpine touches that make it the perfect home away from home on your mountain vacation. There is a gas fireplace in each unit that acts as a warm focal point to gather around at night and really enhance the experience. Starting from a Studio with murphy bed and all the way up to a three-bedroom/two-bath unit, in a variety of layouts, you’re sure to find the right room here. For example, the one-bedroom/two-bath/plus-loft is gorgeous, with vaulted ceilings and big windows that look out past the balcony to the mountains beyond, tall stone encased fireplace, fully-equipped kitchen, and living room with leather couches. The units are more like condominiums, in that you have most everything you need for a self-contained vacation where you really won’t have to venture far from your room, should you choose. It’s the subtle touches that go a long way here at The Wren to ensuring your comfort level is as high as your level of enjoyment.

Q: What amenities does The Wren at Vail offer?

A: Oh, well; so much! There’s an outdoor heated swimming pool and two hot tubs, for starters, so you can soak it up with the backdrop of the Rockies. There’s outdoor gas grills too so in the summer you can do a BBQ. There’s a community room that offers a pool table and board games. You can rent movies to watch on your room’s DVD player. There’s on-site laundry facilities, ski shuttles, and high-speed internet. Grocery shopping is available and a concierge on hand makes sure everything is taken care of and any question you have there the answers shall be.

Q: What activities are available?

A: Of course there’s an abundance of activities that Wren helps make easy. The aforementioned concierge will get you going on whatever you’d like to do, from quadding to snowmobiling, skeet shooting to white water rafting. The private skier shuttle is quite handy during the winter season to get you directly from your door to the lifts without trouble.

Q: Are there any on-site restaurants?

A: While there aren’t any restaurants on site, The Wren is within walking distance to many many outstanding restaurants and nightspots. Vail is legendary for its dining scene so get out there and explore some of the greatest tastes around. Or mix it up and bring some groceries to do a home-cooked meal in your own fully-equipped kitchen. 

Q: How is The Wren at Vail on the environment?

A: As part of East West Resorts, The Wren is committed to sustainability of both the environment and the community. Their “EcoCare Team” ensures that protocols are followed to make the hotel as green as possible.
